25 ISIS militants killed in Afghan Nangarhar air strikes

Kabul: Twenty five militants belonging to the (ISIS) group have been killed and 31 others wounded in two air strikes in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
According to a statement released by the Afghan Ministry of Defense (MoD) on Thursday, the precise strikes were carried out in the past 24 hours based on the coordinates of Afghan National Army's 201st Silab Corps.
The press release further stated that two gatherings of ISIS belonging to the group's commanders Abdul Khaliq and Sayed Amarati were targeted in these attacks in Qala-e-Shikhan area of Deh Bala District leaving 25 killed and 31 others wounded, according to the Afghan (Khaama Press).
"Sayed Amarti is believed to be among those killed," the statement added.
Several different types of heavy and light weapons of ISIS group were also destroyed during the air strikes.
Nangarhar has become the hot spot of the militant group in eastern part of the country where it has also established prisons.
Only in Achin District, the group runs eight captivities where they possibly keep around 300 villagers detained in the course of two months.
