The coaching staff of Qatar’s national football team, led by Carlos Queiroz, pose for a photograph with the coaches of Qatar Stars League’s (QSL) first-division clubs, at a meeting held at Aspire Academy, yesterday.
During the meeting, Queiroz shared his strategies to prepare the Qatari squads for the upcoming tournaments, specially the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in which Al Annabi are pooled in Group A with India and Kuwait to be joined by the winner of the play-off between Afghanistan and Mongolia.
The reigning Asian champions are also looking to retain their title at the 2023 Asian Cup at home. Additionally, Qatar's Olympic squad is preparing for the AFC U-23 Cup, a gateway to Paris 2024 Olympics football tournament.
