Doha: The Lawyers Admission Committee convened yesterday under the chairmanship of Minister of Justice H E Masoud bin Mohammed Al Amri.
The Committee considered topics on its agenda, including taking the oath by seven new lawyers before the Committee, and considering requests of the corresponding business practitioners on the roles of practicing lawyers.
The Committee also considered the requests of a number of new lawyers whose training period had been completed, and interviewed a number of applicants to practice the profession.
The Committee reviewed a number of regulatory matters related to careers of the law profession, and the files presented for discussion, and took appropriate relevant decisions.
