Doha, Qatar: Qatar Youth Hostels has wrapped up the five-day programme dedicated to children, within series of summer programmes that have been launched since July 4 until August.
In a statement, Qatar Youth Hostels said after the great success the first edition of the aforementioned programme has achieved for 18-year-old age categories and over, it decided to apply the same programme on 10-15-year-old groups, because these groups of children are important as they possess a thoughtful idea to craft local and cultural innovative prototyping games.
It outlined that the programme was punctuated by field trips to 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) and Arab Museum of Modern Art, along with practical workshops to apply children’s concepts on the ground through creating tourism games proposed by children based on the tourist attractions that were visited and developed to be a game that is ready for use.
