Asif Rahmany
Doha, Qatar: Asif Rahmany of Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter (EAQC), has been appointed as the Overseas Chapters Representative to Engineers Australia National Congress.
Rahmany’s tenure of representation is set for two years, covering the period of 2023 to 2024. Engineers Australia’s National Congress holds a pivotal position in the organisation, as it is responsible for electing the EA Board of Directors, the governing body of Engineers Australia.
The National Congress plays a crucial role in acting in the best interests of Engineers Australia as a whole. Its responsibilities encompass providing valuable advice and counsel to the Board, reviewing and approving resolutions on pertinent matters, and supporting the accomplishment of Engineers Australia’s objectives through a strategic and holistic approach.
