Qatar to enter “third hottest month” of the year: QMD

The Qatar Meteorology Department released a climate guide for the month of June, "the first month of summer and the third hottest month of the year in Doha.

The average daily temperature during the month is 34.7°C. The lowest temperature recorded in June was 21°C in 1975, while the highest recorded temperature was 49.1°C in 2010.

Fresh to strong northwesterly winds are common during June. These winds can cause blowing dust, reduced visibility, and high waves. Wind speeds are generally stronger during the daytime and decrease during the evening.
