Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani visited the Qatar training camp at the Aspire Academy yesterday.
The QFA President interacted with the players and head coach Carlos Queiroz, as the squad gears up for the Concacaf Gold Cup, which will be played from June 16 to July 16 in the US and Canada.
The three-day camp in Doha will conclude today after which the players will leave for Vienna, Austria for the second phase of preparation. Queiroz, earlier this month had announced a 24-player squad for training camp, leaving out many of the senior stars who had appeared at the FIFA World Cup.
