Doha: In cooperation with the Qatari Forum for Authors, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ehsan Center and the ‘Reading Space’ initiative, the Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum organised an event titled ‘Reading for All’, at the headquarters of Ehsan Center.
The event included a reading guide course, which targeted novice readers and those with little reading experience of all age groups, as they were guided through a consultation session with a reading guide that did not exceed 10 minutes, during which the reading guide would present a questionnaire to explore the background of the participants.
In cooperation with the ‘Reading Space’ initiative, the ‘Reading for All’ project aims to enhance the value of reading in building generations, encourage people of different age groups by guiding them to choose the most appropriate and useful readings according to their categories, passions and interests.
The event included a religious lecture presented by Preacher Mowafi Azab, during which he talked about the importance of reading.
