Doha, Qatar: In a strong reflection of sustained charitable efforts and community solidarity, Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services has announced that approximately 86,000 beneficiaries were reached through its humanitarian projects during the holy month of Ramadan.

The achievement highlights the foundation’s expanding impact and the effectiveness of its well-coordinated charitable programmes, which continue to translate humanitarian values into tangible initiatives that alleviate hardship and foster hope among vulnerable communities.

According to the foundation, its Ramadan initiatives covered a broad spectrum of support, including food assistance, livelihood aid, sponsorship programs, healthcare initiatives, and educational support for students in schools and universities.

The projects also extended to assisting indebted individuals, alongside seasonal campaigns and specialised relief programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of underprivileged families. These efforts reflect a comprehensive approach that addresses social, health, and educational dimensions, while promoting dignity and stability for beneficiaries during and beyond Ramadan.

The foundation emphasized that this milestone aligns with its vision of delivering aid in a more sustainable and organised manner, ensuring support reaches those in need efficiently and transparently, while maximizing its humanitarian and social impact. It also underscores the strong culture of generosity within the community, demonstrating how well-managed giving can create lasting impact beyond time and place.

Expressing deep appreciation to its supporters, the foundation noted that such achievements would not have been possible without the trust and generous contributions of donors, which enabled the expansion of its programs and strengthened its humanitarian presence.

In this context, Ibrahim Ali Abdullah, Deputy CEO for Marketing and Media at the foundation, stated that the generosity of donors in Qatar played a direct role in implementing various Ramadan and humanitarian initiatives. He noted that these contributions helped meet the needs of vulnerable families and supported those in need, reflecting the spirit of social solidarity and the authentic values of the community.

He added that donor support has enabled the continuation of key flagship projects, including initiatives to relieve debtors, the “Manarat Ilm” programme supporting students, as well as Ramadan food basket distribution, family assistance programs, and feeding initiatives. These efforts, he said, have had a tangible impact on improving beneficiaries’ living conditions and bringing relief and comfort to their families.

The foundation further stressed that donor contributions go beyond financial support, creating a lasting humanitarian impact whose benefits endure over time. Such support remains a cornerstone for sustaining projects and advancing the foundation’s mission.

Concluding its statement, the foundation renewed its gratitude to all contributors, affirming that charitable efforts during Ramadan and throughout the year represent a genuine investment in people and society, and a continued call to uphold the values of giving for the benefit of the nation and its communities.
