Doha: Senior officials from Qatari entities and Commercial General Counsel were recently provided with an enlightening update on developments and trends in International Arbitration and recent cases under the English Arbitration Act 1996 by Professor Khawar Qureshi, who leads the McNair team in Doha.
Dr. Daniel Greineder, formerly a partner at Peter & Kim, and Debal Banerji, Senior Advocate (India), who have both recently joined the McNair team each provided a practitioner’s insight into the substantial developments taking place in arbitration in Switzerland and India respectively. During the event, an informative highlight on several important recent cases in the English courts concerning Qatari parties, was also expertly delivered by Joseph Dyke.
