QC community centre concludes competitions on Prophet

QC Community Development Centre – Al Khor Branch for Women – concluded the events and activities of “Ashraqat Bi-Siratuh” competition which aimed at introducing female students to the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Impressive shows were presented during the competition and great performances done by female students who showed their talents in singing, public speaking and acting. There was a good use of modern technology in the final presentation, which included the participation of 13 schools and announcing the results and honoring the winning schools.
The competition aims at studying the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), setting development programmes and plans to build effective persons in the Qatari society and promoting the spirit of innovation among schoolgirls, providing them with life skills and opportunities of excellence to submit their works.
In her speech on this occasion, Mariam Almohanadi, Director of QC Community Development Centre – Al Khor Branch for Women, said that QC’s journey of excellence started by the time of its commencement. We all should promote the work according to humanitarian standards of Qatar Vision 2030 to nurture talents. Our presence today enhances the work to achieve Qatar vision, and improves the learning environment to our students by organizing such competitions to inculcate the Islamic values among them.
Almohanadi added that students’ talents in singing, acting and performance are great opportunities for educational interaction as to move from the theoretical aspect to the practical one through holding competitions that will help apply the Islamic values of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
