The Ministry of Municipality and Environment said yesterday it will launch several new services under its single window system for building licence.
The ministry said it will unify and integrate all services provided by the technical affairs departments of the municipalities.
The new services include advertisement permit for building licences as the procedures required for advertisement permit is being integrated with the procedures of building licences.
Permit for preparing sites and electricity and water meters and service for issuing permit for temporary offices are also among the new services.
The details about new services were given by Tariq Juma Al Tamimi, Director of building licensing complex in the first workshop for consultancy firms on single window system for building licenses.
The workshop, organised by the Ministry was attended by the representatives of consultancy firms and officials.
