Doha: Qatar Table Tennis Competitions Committee announced the schedule of the Premier League matches for the 2017/2018 sports season, which will kick off on December 12 with the start of the four-day round which will last until 16 of the same month.
The clubs participating in this League are Qatar, Al Wakra, Al Arabi, Al Rayyan and Al Sadd, while the defending champions will be absent after being merged with Lakhwiya at the beginning of the season under the name Al-Duhail. Al Khor fell to the second division after finishing last in the season’s ranking.
Al-Rayyan and Al-Arabi will open the league and the second match, which brings Qatar and Al Wakra, will take place at the same time. The matches will be held at the Table Tennis Training Center in Ras Abu Aboud. The competitions will begin on December 19 and continue until 23 of the same month, the Competitions Committee after the end of the first round will schedule the second round matches.
On the other hand, the first division matches will be played on December 14 with the participation of Al Gharafa, Al Ahly, Al Khor and Al Shamal clubs.
