Doha, Qatar: Qatar is participating in the inaugural edition of the “Made in GCC 2026” Forum and Exhibition, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 6 to 8, 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and with the blessing of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is participating as part of the Qatar pavilion, alongside a number of entities supporting the industrial sector, including Qatar Development Bank and Qatar Economic Zones Company (Manateq), as well as more than 20 Qatari factories. This participation reflects the diversity of the industrial sector in the State and contributes to showcasing Qatari products and industries.
This participation reflects the State of Qatar’s commitment to strengthening industrial cooperation and integration among GCC States, exchanging expertise in the development of manufacturing capabilities and the adoption of advanced technologies, and exploring opportunities for integration across Gulf value chains, particularly in priority industrial sectors. These include aluminium, plastics, cables, glass, pharmaceuticals, food products, and engineering industries, enabling member states to benefit from their comparative advantages.
The participation also aims to promote national products and enhance their competitiveness in regional and international markets, while encouraging the private sector to expand its contribution to industrial development. This supports economic diversification and sustainable development in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. The Forum and Exhibition provide a platform for building new industrial partnerships, supported by the development of the State of Qatar’s production and export capabilities.
