Doha, Qatar: The Women’s Activities Section at the Department of Da‘wah and Religious Guidance, Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, has announced the results of the second edition of the Women’s Community Quran Centres Competition for 2025.
This year’s edition witnessed the participation of 22 centres out of 28 registered community centres across the country, with a total of 422 female participants. Of these, 368 successfully passed the qualifying exams. A budget of QR1m has been allocated for the competition. Participants were tested before eight specialized judging panels, under the supervision of the organising committee represented by the Community Centers Unit, chaired by Wafa Issa Al-Muhaizaa, Assistant Director of the Da‘wah and Religious Guidance Department for Women’s Activities. Prizes totaled QR67,750 for the participants, in addition to QR730,000 allocated to support the top ten community centers.
