A series of new performances and events will highlight this year’s edition of Katara’s four-day Eid Al Adha Festival which launches on Friday at Katara Esplanade.
Katara visitors will enjoy shadow theatre inspired by Arab heritage and revolves around a famous character of Arabian tales and his wonderful and comic stories that mix excitement and suspense. Presented daily, the show will be presented in an interactive manner using modern technique which includes bright colors and shapes designed especially for the show.
There will be three 30-minute performances every day which comprise Arabian tales, the Roman Caesar, Alice in Wonderland, and Aladdin, in addition to a live acrobatic show. The shows are scheduled at 6.30pm, 7.45pm, and 9pm.
Eid gifts will be presented to children at 7pm and 8.15pm. The daily celebrations will be concluded with fireworks display at 9.30pm expected to attract more visitors like in the previous years. Katara General Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti underlined Katara’s keenness to organise a special celebration during Eid Al Adha Festival.
