Doha, Qatar: AlRayan Bank has launched its Individual Development Plan (IDP) programme, reaffirming its commitment to investing in the growth and long-term development of its Qatari employees. The programme was introduced during a dedicated Town Hall for Qatari colleagues, convened by the Bank’s Human Resources Division.
The Individual Development Plan provides Qatari employees with a structured roadmap that aligns their current skills, career aspirations and development needs through tailored learning opportunities, practical experiences and ongoing support. Designed as a development tool rather than a performance appraisal mechanism, the programme aims to help employees build the capabilities needed for future career progression while further enhancing the Bank’s leadership pipeline.
Commenting on the launch, Fahad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Group Chief Executive Officer at AlRayan Bank, said: “At AlRayan Bank, we believe our people are our greatest strength. The Individual Development Plan reflects our long-term commitment to developing Qatari talent by providing every employee with a clear pathway to grow, acquire new capabilities and realize their full potential. Investing in our people is an investment in the future of our Bank and in Qatar’s national development.”
Fouzia Al Ansari, General Manager - Human Resources at AlRayan Bank, added: “The Individual Development Plan is designed to provide every participant with a personalised development journey that reflects their ambitions and supports their professional growth. Working closely with managers and our Talent Management team, we are creating meaningful development opportunities that help our colleagues continue learning, advancing and contributing to the Bank’s long-term success.”
As part of the programme, employees will work with their line managers and the Talent Management team to review and refine their development goals, align learning priorities with business needs and career aspirations, and regularly update their plans through structured review cycles.
The initiative builds on AlRayan Bank’s broader commitment to advancing national talent through programmes and partnerships that support Qatar’s human capital agenda and contribute to building the next generation of banking leaders.
