DOHA: Al Khor Hospital’s (AKH) administration in conjunction with Call and Propagation Department at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has opened a Ramadan tent within the premises of the hospital.
The opening event was attended by Mohammad Al Jussaiman, Deputy Chief of General Hospitals Group and Chief Executive Officer of AKH, his assistants Salem Al Shahwani and Hassan Al Hail, as well as Ahmad Al Darsy, Coordinator of Mutawa Office at AKH.
Mohammad Al Misnad, Head of Public Relations at AKH, said that the Ramadan tent programme was launched for the second year in a row, following the success achieved last year.
Religious booklets and free copies of the Holy Quran printed in Qatar are being distributed to visitors to the Ramadan tent, which is being manned throughout the holy month by clerics who are answering visitors’ questions about rules of fasting and other religious matters.
