Thiruvananthapuram--The outcome of the Aruvikkara bypoll has come as a major victory for Congress Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, whose government has been rocked by many scandals in the past few weeks. The triumph of the party candidate would help Chandy emerge further stronger within the party and the ruling coalition United Democratic Front (UDF).
