Speaker of the Shura Council H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met with a delegation of members of the League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds (LP4Q), headed by its President H E Hamid bin Abdullah Al Ahmar, in Doha yesterday.
The delegation expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Qatar in accordance with the wise directives of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in support for the Palestinian cause and the solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people at all levels.
During the meeting, they also reviewed a number of topics related to the enhancement and coordination between the Shura Council and the League of Parliamentarian for Al Quds in a way that serves the Palestinian cause. They also discussed ways to strengthen parliamentarian cooperation and coordinate positions at various regional and international parliamentary forums in order to support the Palestinian cause.
