Doha: The State of Qatar participated in the international conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on nuclear law, which was held for the first time ever in the Austrian capital Vienna.
Qatar’s delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in addition to the general secretariat of the cabinet and the civil defense council.
The Qatari delegation held a number of meetings with specialists from the IEA on the sidelines of the meeting, to follow up on the technical cooperation projects signed between the State of Qatar and the agency to enhance cooperation in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy.
