Doha: The Department of Meteorology warned Thursday of expected thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea to the north offshore.
Weather forecast for Qatar valid until 6.00 pm today hazy at places at first becoming partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain at places inshore, offshore will be hazy and partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain with thundery to the north at times.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 03 to 13 knots. Offshore will be northeasterly to northwesterly from 05 to 15 knots, reaching 22 knots to the north with thundery rain.
Visibility will be 04 to 08 kilometers . The sea state inshore will be between 1 to 2 feet reaching 3 feet at places at times. Offshore will be 2 to 4 feet reaching 7 feet to the north with thundery rain.
