PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi
Doha, Qatar: Paris Saint-Germain were honoured at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, held annually in Dubai yesterday. With seven awards won, the entire Parisian team was recognised, reflecting the work carried out at all levels throughout this historic year.
Less than two weeks ago, Paris Saint-Germain overcame Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup final, claiming their sixth and final trophy of the 2025 season. It was a historic year both domestically (Trophée des Champions, Coupe de France, Ligue 1) and beyond France’s borders (Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup).
An exceptional record-breaking campaign for the club from the capital, which was deservedly rewarded with the title of Men’s Club of the Year.
While success is achieved first and foremost on the pitch, it is also the result of extensive work carried out behind the scenes.
Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi was awarded President of the Year, while Luis Campos and Luis Enrique were respectively celebrated for their roles as sporting director and head coach.
Decisive in three of Paris’s five goals against Inter Milan in the Champions League final played in Munich on May 31, Desire Doue wrote his name into the history of the competition.
Delivering such a performance in a match of that magnitude requires extraordinary mental strength and maturity.
Achieving it at just 19 years of age gives the feat an even more remarkable dimension.
That night, the young Parisian left an indelible mark on the history of the Champions League and Paris Saint-Germain. His Emerging Player of the Year award, received this afternoon in Dubai, not only rewards that memorable evening but also his steady progress throughout the season.
A true playmaker in Luis Enrique’s system for several seasons, Vitinha has established himself as one of the pillars of this Rouge et Bleu squad.
His high-level performances and consistency in major fixtures were recognised with the award for Midfielder of the Year.
Finally, a few months after winning the Ballon d’Or following a record-breaking individual campaign, Ousmane Dembélé brought the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony to a close by being named Men’s Player of the Year 2025.
This additional honour crowned an already unforgettable season, both personally and collectively, for him and for Paris Saint-Germain.
Also, Cristiano Ronaldo won the award for best Best Middle East Player.
