Sidra to host Neonatal Respiratory Care Conference

Doha, Qatar: Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, will host its first Neonatal Respiratory Care Conference from November 13 to 15, 2025 in Doha. Themed as “Tiny Breaths, Big Futures: Updates and Controversies in Neonatal Respiratory Care”, the event is set to explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and foster collaboration in the realm of neonatal respiratory care.

Conference Chair and Division Chief of Neonatology at Sidra Medicine Professor Samir Gupta said, “This conference provides an exceptional opportunity for neonatal care professionals to engage in critical dialogue and hands-on learning around the latest evidence and practices in respiratory management. We will address ongoing debates and share real-world strategies to improve outcomes for our most vulnerable patients. By fostering global collaboration, Sidra Medicine continues to strengthen Qatar’s role as a centre of excellence in neonatal medicine.”

The conference will feature keynote lectures, interactive panels, and case-based discussions as well as an advanced workshop. Key topics include topics including invasive and non-invasive ventilation; pulmonary hypertension; surfactant therapy; bronchopulmonary dysplasia; and respiratory care in extremely preterm infants. The Advanced Ventilation Workshop, will provide participants with immersive sessions on ventilation graphics, bedside monitoring, and emerging technologies in neonatal respiratory support.
