H E Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani hosted a dinner for the participants at Al Samriya Hotel.
Doha, Qatar: Al Faisal Holding sponsored the 3rd Doha Conference for Development and Training in collaboration with the International Federation for Training and Development, under the theme “Training for Sustainable Development and Vision 2030.”
The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of H E Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Board, and was attended by ambassadors, diplomatic mission representatives, ministry officials, and a distinguished group of experts and specialists from across the GCC and Arab countries. This year’s edition welcomed approximately 470 participants representing 22 countries, marking a significant increase compared to previous conferences held in 2023 and 2024, which hosted 170 and 300 participants respectively.
On the sidelines of the conference, H E Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani hosted an honourary dinner for the participants at Al Samriya Hotel, one of the company’s premier properties, known for its unique architectural design that blends tradition with modernity.
During the event, Sheikh Faisal also gave guests a private tour of his personal museum, sharing his passion for collecting rare artefacts that reflect the history and heritage of the Arab and Islamic world. The tour highlighted the beauty and authenticity of Qatari culture and emphasised the importance of cultural exchange, bringing people closer through heritage and the arts.
