DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday announced the launch of a new promotion to enable Hala International Saver Key customers the chance to enjoy calls to Nepal Telecom at an incredible rate.
Any new or existing Hala customers who subscribes to the key will be able to take advantage of a promotional tariff of 20 dirhams per minute for calls to numbers on the Nepal Telecom network.
Currently calls to Nepal cost 45 dirhams per minute via the key, meaning customers can save 25 dirhams per minute on calls to loved ones during the promotion.
The offer has been developed after strong demand from the Nepalese community, which is the second largest expatriate population in Qatar.
This is the lowest Nepal calling promotion from Ooredoo, beating the low cost of Hala Nepal Key launched in 2014.
Hala International Key costs QR1 a week and can be activated by sending SMS ‘ISK’ to 121. It will renew automatically every week so customers can continue to save.
The promotion runs until October 24.
