The Arab Institute of Healthcare Engineering Professionals (AIHEP), a GCC initiative by M&M Consultancy Services, was officially launched at Crowne Plaza, bringing together senior representatives from the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), Qatar Foundation, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and other high-level leaders.
The launch highlighted healthcare engineering as a critical discipline directly linked to patient safety, clinical continuity, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness. Speakers emphasised that healthcare engineering extends beyond traditional facility management and is fundamental to modern healthcare delivery.
AIHEP was introduced as a strategic platform to strengthen professional standards and support the growing demand for specialised healthcare engineering expertise across the region.
As part of the event, M&M Consultancy Services unveiled AHEAD (AIHEP Healthcare Engineering AI Digital Hub) — an AI-powered platform providing access to trusted knowledge, standards, and professional collaboration through intelligent search and a connected forum environment.
Through training programmes, workshops, and membership initiatives, AIHEP aims to build a strong professional community and support safer, smarter, and more compliant healthcare facilities across the GCC and Arab region. Also announcing Partnership with Geneva Sustainability Centre (IHF).
