New York: Chairman of Qatar’s National Counter Terrorism Committee H E Major General Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ansari has met in New York City with Vladimir Voronkov, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office.
Discussions held on the sidelines of the High-level Conference of Heads of Counter-Terrorism Agencies of the United Nations Member States, dealt with the efforts of the State of Qatar in the area of international cooperation to combat terrorism. Sabah Al Haidous, CEO of the Silatech Foundation, also met with Vladimir Voronkov, where they reviewed the steps taken by the Silatech Foundation within the framework of the MoU signed with the UN Office for Combating Terrorism concerning the promotion of employment opportunities for young people in the Arab region.
