Doha, Qatar: Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science (QNCECS) will organise a training workshop on preparing reports and monitoring indicators of the sustainable development goals’ fourth goal on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
To be held today, in cooperation with the Unesco regional office in Doha, the workshop aims at building national capacities in the field of preparing reports and how to monitor the progress made in national and global commitments related to the quality of education by reviewing the indicators of the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals.
To be presented by an expert from Unesco, the two-day workshop also aims at providing technical advice for the monitoring process for the trainees.
More than 35 experts and researchers in the field of education, policies, statistics and planning along with a number of officials from authorities concerned in the country will participate in the training workshop.
