Doha: Based on the importance of including the community in the state’s policy formulation and decision-making process, the Permanent Population Committee (PPC), in collaboration with the Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA), is carrying out an opinion survey on the most important population issues facing the community in Qatar.

The main objective of this exercise is to assist PPC in formulating the forthcoming Third Population Policy (2023-2027) for Qatar.

The First Population Policy was implemented from 2009 to 2014), with the Second Population Policy (2017–2022) currently in progress, to be concluded by October 2022, to be followed by the Third Population Policy, with preparations commencing in November 2022. The third policy is scheduled to be officially launched by January 2023.

The survey will be carried out for a period of one month, starting from today (May 29, 2022).

A link to the electronic questionnaire will be sent to the targeted selected sample of citizens and residents via SMS.

The Committee has called upon all those included in the sample to cooperate and respond to the survey, by fulfilling the questionnaire.
