Qatar Charity has opened an orphanage in Bangladesh.
The organisation said the social welfare centre contains six fully furnished floors, with a capacity of 500 orphans, as well as a school that accommodates 1,000 students.
Qatar's Ambassador Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Dehaimi said the centre is a proud addition to the charity work funded by Qatari donors.
The ambassador said the centre provides ample accommodation to orphans and a school that builds up their knowledge.
