Doha: Minister of Economy and Commerce H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani met yesterday with Spain’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Affairs Jaime Garcia Legaz and his delegation.
They discussed bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation, notably in economic, trade and investment fields and ways of further developing them.
The trade exchange between the two countries totalled in 2014 to nearly QR6.2bn and Spain is considered trade partner No. 16 of Qatar. Qatari exports to Spain are valued at nearly QR5bn, representing in oil and gas products, plastics and its articles thereof, fertilizers, organic chemicals, aluminium, while its imports valued nearly QR1.2bn.

Doha: The total trading value in the real estate sales contracts registered with the Land Registry Department of the Ministry of Justice from April 19 to 23 reached QR705.83m. According to the weekly bulletin issued by the department, the real estate sales included lands, shopping centres, houses residential complexes and towers. These were distributed at the municipalities of Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Zain and Al Wakra.
