MES Indian School celebrated World Health Day recently. 1,500 students participated in a rally to create awareness about the resources of nature and recycling process. Students carried placards and posters and a chain of charts highlighting the facts of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Save Electricity, Save Water and Clean Environment’. Students also took a pledge, initiated by ExxonMobil, stating: “Today, I promise to start my day on a greener note and do everything in my ability to reduce, reuse and recycle. I understand that every action of mine will impact the world around me, and hence will weigh my actions and be responsible.”
