LONDON: British Prime Minister David Cameron has praised Pakistan’s efforts in the war against terror and said everyone has to play a role to eliminate the ‘cancer’ of terrorism.

In an exclusive interview with Geo News correspondent Asif Dar, the British Premier said, “There is a need for joint efforts to cope with terrorism.” He added UK was assisting Pakistan in the military operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Cameron said recently he held a meeting with Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif in a pleasant atmosphere.

He went on to say that IS and other terror groups were twisting teachings of Islam, adding that every segment of society has to play its role to distant the Muslim youth away from these organisations.
