Doha: Second division club Al Ahli defeated Qatar Stars League (QSL) club Al Wakra 4-3 in penalty shoot-out to advance to the next round of the Emir Cup football tournament.
At the end of full time play the teams were locked goaless.
Al Ahli’s Abdulrahman Mohammed Ali got the Man-of the-Match award.
Meanwhile in the other matches yesterday, Al Kharaitiyat defeated Al Shamal 2-0.
For Al Kharaitiyat, Yehya Kiti scored a brace.

In the other match, Al Arabi defeated Muaither 6-5 in penalty shoot-out.
At the Arabi Sports Club, Al Sailiya trounced Al Markhiya 4-1.
Dagano Beli Moumoune of Al Sailiya won the Man-of-the-Match award sponsored by Sony.
