Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 66.37 points, or 0.65%, to 10,093 points at the start of trading on Sunday, compared to the previous session's close, under pressure from four sectors.
The market was weighed down by Banks and Financial Services, which fell 0.51%, followed by Industrials (-0.54%), Transportation (-0.80%), and Telecoms (-1.43%). Performances were positive for Insurance by 0.13%, Consumer Goods and Services (+0.12%), and Real Estate (+0.03%).
By 10:00 am, QSE recorded a total turnover of QR 61.052 million, with 29.068 million shares traded across 4,514 transactions.
