London: The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Mission to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), took part in the meetings of the 50th Session of the IMO Facilitation Committee (FAL 50), held in London from March 23-27, 2026.
Key topics discussed included adopting seamless procedures at ports, accelerating maritime digitalization, and enhancing international cooperation between IMO member states to ensure uninterrupted trade flow and efficient and sustainable maritime industry.
The Qatari delegation stresses Qatar’s commitment to supporting IMO initiatives and working with international partners for a maritime transportation industry that is more secure and more efficient.
