Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation on Thursday with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, HE Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the call, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them across various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments, particularly the current situation and efforts aimed at de-escalation and the promotion of stability.
The two sides stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional issues in a manner that contributes to consolidating peace and security and serves the interests of the region.
