Doha, Qatar: Qatar issued a strong condemnation of the incursion carried out today, November 28, 2025, by Israeli occupation forces in rural Damascus, along with the accompanying shelling that resulted in a number of civilian casualties.
The Ministry of Foreign Affirs, in a statement, said that Qatar considers this attack a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and international humanitarian law.
The Ministry stressed that the continuation of such dangerous Israeli practices undermines security, escalates tensions, and threatens efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.
It further called on the international community to take immediate action to stop these violations, protect civilians, and ensure accountability for the perpetrators in accordance with international law.
The Ministry also reaffirmed Qatar’s steadfast solidarity with the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic—its government and people—and its support for all regional and international efforts aimed at preserving Syria’s security, stability, unity, and territorial integrity.
