Doha, Qatar: Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani honoured a group of citizens and residents who contributed positively during the fire incident that broke out in Al Wakrah Port last week.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) stated that the honourees had “demonstrated exemplary cooperation during the recent fire incident at Al Wakra Port. Their timely and responsible actions alongside Civil Defence teams and relevant authorities played a key role in containing and controlling the fire. which had a significant impact in limiting the spread of the fire and controlling it.”
HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs presented certificates of appreciation to the honourees, in recognition of their courageous stances and constructive community initiatives.
This honoring serves as confirmation of the importance of active partnership between community members and state institutions in protecting lives and property.
It also serves as an embodiment of the Ministry of Interior's approach in recognising everyone who contributes to supporting its security mission and enhancing values of cooperation and community responsibility.
