Al S'mak star heralds colder nights in Qatar: Meteorology Dept

Doha: Tonight marks the first night of Al S'mak star, the second star in the Wasmi season, Qatar Meteorology Department announced. The star’s ascent is projected to last for 13 days.

During this period, the nights are expected to gradually become colder, with mild speed winds accompanying. 

There are chances of scattered rains also  during the star’s rise.
