Doha: The Qatari Forum for Authors, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, held yesterday an awareness raising seminar regarding family in the Digital Age.
During the seminar, digital transformation, AI, and cybersecurity consultant and expert, Dr. Abdullah Salhot said that the changes affecting families nowadays are not limited to social media, rather, they are affecting family dynamics altogether.
Excessive screen time is not the real problem here, Dr. Salhot added, the lack of understanding of what constitutes responsible and balanced use, is. He called for striking a balance.
