Doha, Qatar:Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Republic of Djibouti H E Moumin Hassan Barreh paid a visit to the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, where he was welcomed by Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Akhn Al-Marri, the center’s Director.
The Minister praised the Center’s outstanding efforts in introducing and promoting Islamic culture. The Minister listened to a comprehensive briefing by the center’s Director covering various aspects of the Center’s work. He expressed his deep admiration for the Center’s operations, its dedicated efforts to meet the needs of non-Arabic speaking Muslim communities, and its unique approach to presenting Islamic culture and Qatari heritage, as well as teaching the Arabic language.
At the conclusion of the tour, the center’s Director presented the Minister with a personalised plaque featuring his name in elegant Arabic calligraphy, along with the Center’s commemorative shield. Calligraphy plaques featuring the names of the accompanying delegation were also presented.
