Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has completed a humanitarian project at a cost of $100,000 (QR365,000) for Syrian refugees in Jordan. The project comprised two phases, the first phase is about the maintenance of the residential buildings housing Syrian refugees ahead of winter to protect the inhabitants from bad weather.
The second phase meant to distribute vouchers to 1,000 families (5,000 people) to meet their requirements for winter like warm clothes, blankets, or heaters, said a release.
Some of these outlets are accessible for people with special needs, who constitute 25% of total beneficiaries. The vouchers were handed over to the recipients as follows: QRCS Jordan office (300 vouchers), Dar Al-Salam Charity Organization in Irbid (200), Nedaa Al Khair Charity Organization (100), Al-Gharaa Charity Organization (150), and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (250).
