DOHA: The State of Qatar said that it is following with great concern the current developments in the Republic of Niger, calling on all parties to avoid escalation, listen to the voice of wisdom, and pursue dialogue to overcome the crisis in the country.
In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the keenness of the State of Qatar on Niger’s security and stability, and expressed its hope for preserving constitutional institutions and the rule of law, in order to realize Niger people’s aspirations for development and prosperity.
