The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced that a traffic diversion on F-Ring Road will be in place to enable the construction of a bridge linking F-Ring Road with Al Wakra Bypass (Doha Express Highway).
The detour, installed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, starts on Monday, July 31 and lasts until the end of 2018.
During the realignment period, road users on F-Ring Road travelling from Hamad International Airport towards Mesaimeer will be able to use a parallel route with three lanes instead of four lanes for a short distance of approximately 2km.
The speed limit will be reduced to 80km per hour from 100km per hour.
