H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, who is also Chairman of the 13th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), arrived here yesterday at the invitation of Chairperson of the Group of 77 and China (G77), Cecilia Rebong, to give a keynote speech during the opening ceremony of the Group meeting that will be held at Unesco headquarters as part of preparations for the 14th session of UNCTAD.
The Group of 77 and China aims to coordinate stances of third world countries towards major economic, trade, social and cultural issues tabled to the international group at the United Nations and international organisations’ meetings and conferences. QNA
