KABUL: Afghan security forces have killed 43 insurgents in newest actions across the country, Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday.
In a statement issued by the Afghan ministry stated that the operations were conducted in Nooristan, Kundoz, Faryab, Helmand, Oruzgan and Ghazni provinces in past 24 hours.
According to the statement, 43 militants were killed and 25 others wounded in these operations.
Security forces also confiscated heavy and light weapons but the Interior Ministry's statement did not contain a specific number of them.
In the meantime, a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense stated that two soldiers of Afghan National Army were killed in past 24 hours.
