Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched the digital service “Where Is My Center” to help the public and investors easily locate 182 licensed educational and training centres operating across the country.
The ministry’s Educational and Training Services Centers Department announced that the service is now available through its direct electronic link, enabling users to instantly access information and locations of licensed centres in different municipalities and areas of the country.
The platform offers multiple search options, allowing users to look for centres by name, educational or training activity, municipality, district and residential area. The service is integrated with Google Maps, providing accurate electronic navigation and helping users reach the centres conveniently.
Officials said the initiative is designed to improve accessibility to educational and training services by enabling beneficiaries to identify suitable centres based on their specific needs and geographic locations.
In addition to supporting the public, the digital platform also provides valuable spatial indicators for investors and planners. The service highlights the geographic distribution of existing educational and training centres across the country, enabling investors interested in launching new projects to identify underserved areas and avoid regions where centres are already heavily concentrated.
The ministry noted that the feature will contribute to ensuring a fairer distribution of educational services while opening up promising investment opportunities in the private education and training sector.
The launch of the service forms part of the ministry’s broader efforts to accelerate digital transformation, enhance transparency and improve access to information. It also reflects ongoing initiatives aimed at providing smart tools that support stakeholders in the educational process and strengthen the development of Qatar’s private educational and training services sector.
