Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided assistance worth QR14,883,058 locally in 2023.

The Foundation reviews its local efforts within the charitable work system through its annual report, which sheds light on its local activities within the framework of providing various forms of support to the educational and health sectors and many civil society organizations.

This is in addition to supporting the aspirations of needy groups for a decent living depending on their capabilities since the foundation is self-financing.

In its various activities, Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation relies on an innovative vision pursued by the Foundation in its humanitarian and development efforts to form an added value to the nature of charitable work, considering that it focuses on sustainability as an essential element.

The Foundation believes that the most important elements that enhance development standards are health and education as basic foundations and inherent to ensuring its sustainability.

Social responsibility

Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation pays great attention to local projects on its map of projects and initiatives.

This comes within the framework of its social responsibility, which essentially focuses on supporting needy individualsand needy families, people with disabilities, and the sick, by providing monthly financial and in-kind assistance worth QR6,952,505.

The Foundation was also keen to support civil society organizations concerned with health and educational affairs, bringing the total amount of this support to QR387,500 in 2023.

In order to ensure the greatest effectiveness in reaching these groups and those deserving of support, the Foundation saw the need to build partnerships with many institutions and bodies affiliated with the public and private sectors concerned with the health and education sectors, due to its deep belief in the importance of integration to keep pace with the comprehensive renaissance efforts that Qatar witnesses.

Health sector

Given the importance that the Foundation attaches to the health sector, which in turn is a practical translation of its vision “Health and Education for a Better Life,” the Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation took the initiative during 2023 to contribute to alleviating the burden of the disease on many medical conditions, and those with chronic diseases who are unable to bear treatment costs and assistance through its partners in the health sector, especially Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).

The total value of support in this field amounted to QR548,902, which reflects the Foundation’s keenness to support this vital sector with the aim of achieving a healthy society, which would reflect positively on the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the country.

Education sector

During the year 2023, the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided various forms of support to the educational sector, by providing support to many educational institutions that represent various educational levels.

The support included many community schools and university students in the country, out of the Foundation’s keenness to improve its scientific and academic outcomes.

This aid includes paying tuition fees for many university and school students who are unable to bear their education costs, as well as the initiative to provide financial rewards to outstanding Qatari students affiliated with Qatar University. Bringing the total support provided by the Foundation in 2023 in the educational field to QR6,994,505.
